"Impale" earrings

Earrings with attitude. Made from reclaimed and repurposed Olivewood serviette rings.

The wood has been sanded, sealed and polished to reveal its natural grain and markings, and then coloured a soft glossy pink on the inside.

Large nickle-plated spikes  penetrate larger holes in the wood from the inside - thus impaling itself.

The earrings feature silver clip & stud combinations at the back.
